Discover Zambia

Zambia is a landlocked country located in the heart of Africa. It falls at the crossroads of southern, eastern and central Africa and has seven bordering countries: Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Tanzania and Malawi.

Zambia is well-known for being home to the Victoria Falls. The falls are aptly known as Mosi-O-Tunya, “The Smoke that Thunders” and they plunge 103 metres into a chasm which is 1.71km in length. You can also find some exquisite wildlife and birdlife in Zambia, especially in South Luangwa National Park, Lower Zambezi National Park and Kafue National Park which all offer a huge variety of animal and bird species.

The safaris in Zambia are available throughout the year, however there are preferred times of the year for certain activities. The best time to visit Victoria Falls is between December and April when the rainy season is on its way out but the falls are still full of water. The best time to visit our beautiful national parks and see impressive wildlife would be in the dryer months from June through to October, however the rainy season is the best time to view birdlife.
